Biography

Andrew Charlton was born in Gold Cast, Australia in 1980 to a family of doctors. Since childhood, the boy dreamed of becoming a doctor.

In 1997 he entered the Australian National University for a bachelor's degree. In 2001 he received a bachelor's degree with honors, having mastered the specialty of a vascular surgeon. Thanks to a diploma with honors, in just a year I completed the master's program at the same university and started writing my Ph.D. thesis.

Scientific activity

For three years, Dr Andrew Charlton has been studying the treatment of trophic ulcers of venous etiology. In 2004, he defended his thesis on the topic: "The use of tomicide in the complex treatment of trophic ulcers of venous etiology in the phases of exudation and proliferation", dedicated to the problems of treating trophic ulcers of the lower extremities in chronic venous insufficiency.

Since 2015 she has been studying the problems of premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction in men. Writes articles on this topic, conducts seminars. Interested in researching drugs such as Viagra, Cialis, etc.. which can improve sexual performance in men.

He is the author of 3 patents for inventions, 2 teaching aids on medical and pharmaceutical education of Australian universities for use in the educational process in medical universities, 62 publications.

Achievements

In 2004, he developed and implemented on the territory of Gold-Cast the only system of centralized monitoring of patients taking indirect anticoagulants at that time in Gold-Cast.

After graduating from the Master's Degree in Surgery since 2001, he has been working in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Ikon Kancer Center Hospital, Gold Coast University. Since October 2010, he has been appointed responsible for the antithrombotic therapy at Ikon Cancer Center Hospital, Gold Coast University.
